Picture Locket Identification
Picture locket Question: I have a second hand picture locket with an hallmark but i can’t find where or who it was made by.

The stamping is as follows.
9 375 G WJJ then a shield lying on it’s side with what looks like 3 little mounds.

This is a classic UK British hallmark indicating 9 carat gold - then 375 (which is the decimal mark for 9 ct gold) followed by the date letter of the year it was made (G) and the Maker’s Mark, Store or design mark (WJJ).
The shield is the Assay office mark for the town of CHESTER, where it was stamped.
